Midweek Silent Preached Retreat for Women

October 11 - 13, 2022

Theme:   "Women Praying”

Do you ever feel like "running away" in the middle of the week to get away from the pressures of family, career and the busyness of life in the fast lane?  Where do we run to?

How have you and God been?  How's the prayer life?  Deep and refreshing?  Dry and barren? Forgotten altogether in a busy life?

This year's fall retreat theme: Women Praying, will help you to examine how you and God dialogue in your relationship. We will explore many prayer forms including: silent meditation, lectio divina, walking the labyrinth, journaling, praying the rosary, and doing a daily examen.

There are many paths up the mountain to God!  Perhaps it is time for you to explore a new prayer path or to refresh an old one.  Gather with other women to rest and pray.  God, your Creator, Lover, and Keeper, wants to hear from you and delights in your drawing near! Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ tells us, "Come away by yourselves to a deserted place and rest awhile." (Mark 6:31).

On retreat we find our place in the order and return to our center, the place of right relationship with God, self, and others.
