We are staffed by food service workers, housekeepers, maintenance personnel, gardeners, office staff, and the Redemptorist Priests and Brothers. CURRENT JOB OPENINGS
Part Time Kitchen Worker
Starting hourly pay $ 12.60 per hour – Benefits Vacation and Holiday Pay
The duties of the position will be assisting with meal preparation and serving meals as well as cleaning the dining room, washing dishes and maintaining a clean kitchen for the retreat center.
Hours of work will vary – days, evenings and weekends. No experience necessary. Will train. Must be able to do physical work, such as, clear tables, run dishwasher, bring food to the serving line, sweep and mop floors in dining area and kitchen as well as vacuum carpet in the dining room .
High School diploma/GED Equivalent Desired, No licenses required. No vehicle required.

Food Service Manager
Starting hourly rate $ 18.00 per hour – Benefits Vacation and Holiday Pay
20 – 30 hours per week
Food service management and food preparation experience necessary.
• Manage the food service operation at the Redemptorist Retreat Center.
• Prepare main entrees and other food items to meet quality and quantity standards.
• Check menus to see that appropriate food and supplies are on hand, thawed and ready to use.
• Prepare food in a timely manner as specified meal times.
• Set work schedule for kitchen employees.
• Order supplies and food as needed.
Ideal candidate will have the following:
Education and/or Experience High School diploma, Associate Degree in Culinary Arts, one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and follow recipes and follow special dietary needs.
Certificates and Licenses
A current ServSafe certificate from the Sate of Wisconsin and Food Handlers Permit.

Part-time Housekeeper
Starting hourly pay $ 12.60 per hour – Benefits Vacation and Holiday Pay
The hours of work will vary, days, evenings and weekends. No experience necessary. Will train.
Must be able to clean guest rooms and common areas: Dust furniture, spray cleaning, vacuuming using an up-right style vacuum cleaner, mopping and cleaning restrooms, making beds, trash removal. Must be able to perform continuous activity at a reasonable pace including walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting.
