When we are living the Gospel in our daily lives, we are a blessing to those around us. The eight beatitudes are eight qualities revealed to us through the teaching of Jesus. They are a way of describing how “gospel-centered” Christians penetrate society with the Good News of the Kingdom of God. We become a sign of the blessing of mercy and reconciliation each of us has received beginning with our Baptism. “Beatitude Living” is a lifestyle that helps us enrich ourselves and those around us. 

About your Retreat Team Facilitator

Fr. Ted Lawson, C.Ss.R. is the Program Coordinator of the Redemptorist Retreat Center.  He has served in Parish Ministry,  preaching for Parish Missions and Novenas and as the Director of the Health Care Center for the Redemptorists.  His experience in retreat ministry has been an important part of his pastoral life. He had the privilege of serving as the Director of the Desert House of Prayer, a contemplative retreat center near Tucson, Arizona.  Fr. Lawson is a native of Pewaukee, Wisconsin.
