Father Joe Hunt Addiction & Recovery Weekend - November 21 - 23, 2025

$260.00

Friday November 21, through Sunday November 23, 2025

Retreat Theme

Experiencing Freedom, Happiness, Peace and Serenity by Working the 12 Steps of AA

Retreat Presenters

Roman, and the Many Friends of Bill and Bob

Join us!

We invite you to work your 12 steps with us! Our weekend promise from the AA Big Book:

We are going to know a new FREEDOM and a new HAPPINESS…we will comprehend the word SERENITY and we will know PEACE.

How can we guarantee this promise?

By working the 12-steps of AA in fellowship with other addicts - in the tradition set by Bill and Bob. Each 12-step will be inspired by an esteemed recovering alcoholic, who will share their personal experience, strength, and hope, followed immediately by intimate, small-group breakouts or one-on-one gatherings.

The weekend offers abundant flexibility for prayer and meditation, self-reflection, and sponsor-led step work.

In addition, there will be opportunities for weekend sponsorship and mini-5th steps.

The tone of our weekend group setting reminds us from the AA Big Book that: “We aren’t a glum lot. We absolutely insist on enjoying life.”

Who is this retreat for?

This retreat is for those new to AA as well as those in AA and working their 12-step program. We welcome those that are newly sober!

What’s Included?

Your retreat includes simple but comfortable accommodations including a private room with a bed and an ensuite bathroom (shower included), bed and bath linens, three meals on Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday, refreshments, and all retreat materials.

Coffee is available 24 hours in the dining hall. The Chapel and Library are also open 24 hours to our guests.

Retreat Schedule

You’ll arrive by 6:15 pm on Friday, check in, and join the group for a talk. Refreshments will be served, but there is no Friday evening meal.

Saturday is a full day beginning with breakfast in the dining hall.

On Sunday, you’re free to check out and leave anytime after lunch around 1:00 pm.

IMPORTANT NOTE WHEN REGISTERING: The online registration here is for one participant in a single occupancy room. If you’re attending as a married couple, or if you are an individual participant interested in a room sharing arrangement, please call the office at 262-567-6900 to register.

Comments from AA 12&12:

“Many of us like the experience of an occasional retreat from the outside world where we can quiet down for an undisturbed day or so of self-overhaul and meditation”
