A Glimpse into Widowhood, presented by author Bonnie Merryfield
Please join us for this special event based on the works of local author Bonnie Merryfield. Drawing on her own experience as well as her two international award-winning books, Bonnie will help us to better understand widowhood. If you’ve been recently widowed, you will learn that you are not alone in your experience. And if you’ve been widowed for some time, you will relate to many of the experiences and much of the advise shared by Bonnie and th many widows and widowers she has interviewed.
This event is useful to not only those who have been widowed but also those who interact with a widow or widower within their circle of family and friends.
This event is open to anyone at any stage of widowhood – male or female - or those who just wish to learn more.
Our day will start with a presentation by Bonnie, followed by discussion and Q&A, and then prayer service.
Light refreshments will be served.
Bonnie’s two books, “So Now You’re a Widow,” and “The Ultimate Widower’s Guide” will be available to purchase during the event for $20.00 each.
About our Presenter:
Bonnie Merryfield is a retired high school English teacher wth a Master of Fine Arts. She was widowed in 2018 after 44 years of marriage.
